Srinagar: Minister of State Civil Aviation Shri Jayant Sinha today inaugurated Art Gallery exhibition in Security Hold Area at Srinagar Airport while departing to Delhi on two days visit to valley.
Jayant Sinha was received by Airport Director, Srinagar Airport, Sharad Kumar, GM (Engg-Civil) CHQ , SSP (AHJ) Manzoor Dalal , CRPF 35 BN Asstt. Commandant , all airlines station Managers and other AAI officials.
Minister during inspection of Srinagar Airport was very happy with the State of Art infrastrure and satisfied with cleaning of Terminal building and toilets. He also visited Child care room made especially for passengers carrying Infants for feeding milk and changing nappies etc.
Airport Director, Srinagar Airport, Sharad Kumar briefed MOSCA about the achievement of Srinagar Airport during the last two years.Srinagar Airport deserve recognition for their efforts in developing and implementing programs which are due on demand from Airlines inspite of the disturbance in the valley last year.
Srinagar International Airport, has been bestowed with the prestigious National Tourism Awards 2016-17, Airports Council International 2nd Airport service Quality award for the year 2016 in 2.5 million category and EPC world Award for Outstanding Airport (Rest Of India).
