Srinagar, Dec 13 :The Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed ‘Milap’ editor Rishi Suri as the new media consultant to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the engagement of Mr Rishi Suri as Media Consultant in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat,” an order issued by the General Administration Department said.
Mr Suri, an editor of The Daily Milap, according to the order, will draw a consolidated pay of Rs 50,000 per month.
Meanwhile, expressing happiness over the appointment, Mr Suri said he is looking forward to working with Ms Mufti and her team towards betterment of the state and the country.
