Srinagar: As many as 403 cabs and 40 buses were seized for operating from old Batamaloo Bus Stand, which was shifted to Parimpora in the city outskirts despite protests by traders and transporters.
An official spokesperson said here on Tuesday that Traffic Police Srinagar seized more than 403 cabs for operating from the entry and exit points of the erstwhile Batamaloo Bus Stand.
In addition, he said Traffic Police City Srinagar seized 40 buses while route permit of 24 vehicles were cancelled
“Traffic Police City Srinagar asked Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operators that they desist from operating from the erstwhile Batamaloo Bus stand,” he added.
