New Delhi, Dec 20 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged party lawmakers to shun “over confidence and complacency” and said BJP leaders and workers should be ready to work harder to achieve greater milestones.
In his address to Bharatiya Janata Party MPs at a meeting here,attended among others by party chief Amit Shah and senior Ministers, Mr Modi also said while the number of seats has come down in Gujarat, the vote share showed there is also a modest increase in the support base.
New Delhi MP Meenakshi Lekhi later told reporters that the party will analyse the factors that led to the BJP losing out on seats even as there was an increase in the vote percentage polled. (UNI)
