New Delhi, Dec 28:Expressing concern that the Constitution, which forms the foundation of the country, was under threat with statements being made by senior members of BJP to change it, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said it was the duty of his party to defend the Constitution and fight for the truth.
‘The Constitution, which lay down the foundation of our country, is under threat. It is under attack directly. Statements are being made by senior members of the BJP in this regard.
It is under attack surreptitiously from the back. It is the duty of the Congress party and every single Indian to defend it,’ Mr Gandhi said, while addressing party workers on occasion of the 133rd foundation day of the Congress.
