Sopore, Dec 29: In an unfortunate mishap, a casual employee of power development department (PDD) died today after coming under an electric pole that fell on him during repair work at Harwan in Zainageer belt, 10 kms away from Sopore in north Kashmir’s baramulla district.
Authorities at Sub District Hospital Sopore said the deceased was brought dead.The has been identified as Feroz Ahmed Shiekh son of Late Ghulam Nabi Shiekh resident of Tujjer Shareef. PDD authorities confirmed the death of its casual employee in the mishap during the repair work. (Kashmir Wire)
