Sangli, Maharashtra, Dec 30 : Two persons, including a woman and her one-and-half-year-old child, were killed while 20 others injured, six of them seriously, when a private luxury bus in which
they were travelling overturned on Miraj-Pandharpur National Highway at Vithalwadi Petrol Pump, three km from Nagaj Phata in Kavthe-Mahankal Tehsil of this district late last night.
According to police, the private tourist luxury bus, which was on its way to Solapur from Kolhapur, overturned while trying to overtake a truck and fell into a roadside ditch.
