New Delhi, Dec 30 : The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Saturday said that no exit will be permitted from Rajiv Chowk metro station after 2000 hrs on December 31.
‘As advised by Delhi Police authorities, the passengers from the Rajiv Chowk Metro station will not be allowed to exit from 2000 hrs onwards on New Year’s Eve, that is, December 31 as against the earlier announcement of 2100 hrs onwards,’ a DMRC spokesperson said.
This is to enable the authorities to maintain peace and law and order during the New Year Eve celebrations in New Delhi district area, the spokesperson said.
