Srinagar, Dec 30 : Security forces conducted a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Saturday despite sub zero temperature, official sources said.
Acting on a tip-off about the presence of militants, security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint search operation at Gund Jehangir, Hajin, Bandipora.
Security forces sealed all exit points and launched house-to-house search operation, the sources said. The identity cards of all male members were checked before allowing them to go.
