Guwahati, Jan 4 Bodies of five youths – aged between 12 to 25 years – were recovered from inside a locked vehicle in Mukalmuwa area of Nalbari district of Assam today.
The Nalbari superintendent of police said the vehicle was parked in the area since last evening after about 20-22 local youths had returned from a picnic.
Among them, four youths had decided to stay inside the vehicle due to a deflated tyre, and as it was already dark it was not possible to change the tyre.
A 12-year-old boy of the area had joined the youths inside the vehicle upon hearing loud music being played inside.
As music continued to play inside the vehicle till early morning, the local people went to check the boys and found them in unconscious condition.
