Former Pak Air Chief Marshal Asghar Khan passes away

Islamabad, Jan 5 : Pakistan’s former Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Asghar Khan, passed away on Friday morning, according to the family sources.

According to the Dunya News, he passed away on Friday morning at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi after a long illness on Friday morning.He was going to turn 97 on January 17 this year, the Geo TV reported.

Details of his funeral are yet to be revealed by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Earlier reports stated that his burial will be held on Saturday in his native village of Nawa Shehar, Abbottabad.
