Aanchal Thakur bags India’s first Skiing Medal

New Delhi, Jan 10 : Aanchal Thakur has scripted history after winning India’s first-ever international medal in skiing in the coveted Alpine Ejder 3200 Cup organised by the Federation Internationale de Ski (FIS) in Turkey.

The Manali resident on Tuesday clinched bronze in the in the slalom race category.

Aanchal also shared her achievement on her Twitter account saying,”Finally something unexpected happened. My first ever international medal. Federation International Ski Race (FIS). At the end turkey served me well.”
