Srinagar, Jan 10: Jammu and Kashmir police has strongly denied the reports that another student of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) from Baramulla has joined militancy.
The youth from north Kashmir Baramulla is working in a Nagpur, Maharashtra, a police spokesman said.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, police said, ”The report carried by section of media about Baramulla boy Muzamil Husain going missing from AMU is incorrect and is hereby refuted.
The boy has been working as Assistant Geologist in MECL Nagpur,Mahrashtra since October, 2016.

The report had appeared in the media after a research scholar at AMU Mannan Bashir Wani, a resident of Kupwara, had joined Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant outfit recently.
