Srinagar: Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora in south Kashmir’s area of Pulwama district in which renowned personalities of World are published with their achievements and inventions are displayed.
The Muslim personalities played a very inspiring role in the production and dissemination of new knowledge around the world which have shaped and redefined the intellectual capabilities of the humankind. This year’s Calendar is dedicated to the Muslim Scientists & Scholars of 8th-15th Century CE from Muslim world who have made considerable contributions in various domains of knowledge like Architecture, Astronomy, Arts, Biology, Engineering, Geography, Mathematics, Medicine, Philosophy, Physical Science, Social Science, etc. The calendar was released in presence of various university officials.
