Mangaluru, Jan 15 : Police have arrested two more persons in the murder of small eatery owner Bashir at Kottar Chowki in this Port City of Karnataka on January 3.
Police said on Monday that Bashir who owned a small eatery in the busy road was dragged out of his shop and hacked to death by allegedly activists belonging to a right wing organisation on the same day when Deepak Rao, a BJP and RSS was murdered in the same manner.
The accused in both the cases have been apprehended by the police and after police remand they have been in judicial custody.
It was alleged that Bashir was attacked by miscreants who allegedly wanted to take revenge after learning about murder of Rao.
Special teams formed by the police have already arrested four people in connection with the murder of Rao.
