New Delhi, Jan 17 : A five-judge constitution bench, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra and four other judges – – Justices AM Khanwilkar, Adarsh Kumar Sikri, DY Chandrachud and Ashok Bhushan — started hearing the arguments and the submissions from the petitioners, in connection with the constitutional validity of Aadhaar matter.
The apex court’s top four judges, who held a press conference last week against CJI Misra and revolted against him, were not a part of the bench.
