New Delhi, Jan 23: The Hindi Film, Padmaavat, would now be screened across the country, with the Supreme Court on Monday refused to modify its earlier order.
The apex court’s earlier order of January 18 was challenged by the Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh Governments, and they had sought modification in the order.
Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Tushar Mehta, appearing for the state of Rajasthan, argued before the Supreme Court that he was not asking for the ban on the film.” I have moved the apex court for certain modification of the top court’s earlier interim order, Mehta submitted to the court.
