Srinagar, Jan 27: Security forces on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation in a village in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said here on Saturday afternoon.
They said following specific information about presence of militants, a joint search operation was launched by Special Operations Group (SOG) of state police, 19 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 164 battalion of CRPF at village Watnard in Anantnag.
