Student clash in college leave 7 injured in Tripura
Agartala, Feb 22 : The anticipating outcome of just concluded assembly election has triggered tension in Dharmanagar Government Degree, which turned into a battleground for SFI and ABVP supporters yesterday.
Allegedly SFI supporters attacked ABVP that left at least seven students including girls injured.
The North district administration has made extra deployment in Dharmanagar Government Degree College following group clashes between ABVP and SFI supporters.
In the evening, ABVP held a rally in the town protesting SFI attack and blocked the highway demanding arrest of the accused.
According to ABVP leaders, SFI supporters broke the security barricade with sticks and bricks that resulted in injury to ABVP supporters.
