RAMBAN, Apr 20: Resident of Ramban after Friday prayers today held a protest demonstration against the brutally gang-raped and killing in Rassana Village of district Kathua and demand for justice for the victim in, here today.
The protestors blocked National Highway for more than half an hour and raised slogans against government and Bar Association Jammu for sheltering the culprit.
The protest was started from Cafeteria morh and ends at Masjid Market via Bus Stand Ramban.
Imam Masjid Moluana Nazir said that the agitation was totally against the Bar Association Ramban for sheltering the culprit by giving the band call in Jammu.
He further said that if the culprit will be punished that we will take another way for the Justice for victim.
Imam warned of an agitation if the government didn’t punish the culprit soon.
During the protest Police officials were also deployed to avoid any type of mishap.
