Malik condemns ‘ongoing repression’ in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 04: Condemning the ‘ongoing repression’ in Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik Friday said that horrible rise in innocent killings is actually a manipulation of frustration that Indian rulers, their Kashmiri supporters and Armed forces are suffering from.
In a statement issued to KPS, Malik said that “indiscriminate firings and showering of pellets which is resulting in martyrdom of our unarmed innocents and blinding of young boys and girls is nothing but naked state terrorism.”
He said that pro-Indian politicians who like some noxious wolves scream together on some ugly incident are seen silent on this continued massacre and mass blinding which speaks volumes about their hypocrisy.
Malik said that innocent Kashmiris are falling to the state terrorism of India and hundreds of thousands have and are being injured on a daily basis.
He said that on ongoing killings, maiming, mass blinding, blasting and burning down of properties, incarcerating thousands under black laws like PSA, humiliating and beating Kashmiri youth an roads and other oppressive tactics like these are going on from last many decades but Indian by using these harsh measures has failed to contain or defeat Kashmiri resistance and struggle for freedom which is legal and based on genuineness and truth.
Meanwhile, on the call given by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), JKLF staged protest against the spree of arrests.
