Ganderbal: A 12year old boy was crashed to death after being hit by a tractor in Kangan area of Ganderbal district on late Sunday, reports said.
They said that Sajad Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Mohammad Lone (12) a resident of Akhal Kangan died after hit by a tractor bearing registration number (Chasis) travelling from Akhal to Kangan near his residence at Akhal.
He was immediately rushed to sub district Hospital Kangan soon after the accident where he succumbed to his injuries.
After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased boy was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites, reports added.
Police have registered a case in this connection and arrested the tractor driver identified as Bilal Ahmad Ganai son of Abdul Majeed Ganai, a resident of Akhal.
