Mumbai, Jun 11 : The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday advanced by 138.19 to 35,581.86 as fresh buying was seen across the board.
The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) too rose by 41.45 points to 10,809.10.
The sensex registered intra day high and low at 35,653.96 and 35,471.07 points respectively.
The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,834.50 and 10,777.60 respectively.
The sectoral indices like Realty, Bankex, Metal, Health Care, Capital Goods rallied in early trade.
The gainers were Bharti Airtel by 2.81 pc to Rs 387.35, Dr Reddy’s Lab by 2.14 pc to Rs 2107, Sun Pharma by 1.93 pc to Rs 538.40 and Yes Bank by 1.36 pc to Rs 342.20.
The losers were Powergrid by 1.31 pc to Rs 195.90, Tata MotorsDVR by 0.70 pc to Rs 184.90, Tata Motors by 0.63 pc to Rs 308.10 and HeroMoto Corp by 0.34 pc Rs 3622.05.
