Srinagar: A meeting of all J&K Saffron Growers Association was held today on 27 June, 2018 under the chairmanship of Haji Abdul Majeed Wani, Chairman of the association, wherein various issues were discussed. Association hailed the role of Director Agriculture Kashmir, who being a dynamic administrator fulfilled the major issues of the farmers which included the extension of the national mission on Saffron for further two years. The mission was not completed in the stipulated time due to unfavorable conditions. The role of Director Agriculture in extending the mission was very much lauded.
