Rodic Consultants celebrates 18th anniversary in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jul 01 : Rodic consultants Pvt. Ltd., a Delhi based Engineering Consultancy Firm, celebrated its 18th anniversary of Rodic Foundation Day on 30th June in Lalit Grand Palace-Gupkar Srinagar.
The function was attended by a Galaxy of senior Central and State Government officers, Clients from various States and employees of Rodic from its head office, Regional offices of other States, Regional Office J&K and employees working on various projects of J&K.
Rodic consultants are already established in J&K State in a big way in providing its consultancy services for various prestigious developmental projects of J&K in Highways, Tunnels, Hydro Power, Power distribution and other Urban Infrastructure Developmental projects.
The J&K State was specially selected as venue of this function to show our solidarity and commitment to the State in efficient delivery for the implementation of our assignments.
On this occasion, the chief guest released a book on the projects being handled by the company in J&K and various challenges faced during implementation of these projects with mitigations thereof.
Regional Head & Sr. Manager Rodic Consultants, Sahil Manhas said that regional Office Jammu was created with the futuristic vision of our CMD to get a strong fool hold in the State of Jammu and Kashmir and also to tap the unutilized infra sector as well as to contribute to the development of the State. Shagun Chopra was appointed as the first Regional head by the management of RODIC under the able guidance of its worthy CMD.
Manhas said that the company envisioned opening up of a regional office in J&K for various strategic reasons viz access to local resources, providing a local face to the company, making company contact much easier for the client, shorten delivery time, to widen its corporate base in various segments, added convenience for clients in times of troubleshooting and effective locally targeted liaison.
“Regional office was needed in order to rationalize the local coordination structure and maximize available efficiencies. This was part of the company’s strategy to engage itself in the regional markets,” Manhas said.
He added that the far sightedness of CMD proved to be a boon for the company, as, soon after setting up of the regional office, RODIC project market share in J&K increased manifolds. RODIC ventured into number of unmapped sectors which were 1st in RODIC like tunneling, hydro power, urban sector, operation and maintenance, smart city and power sector.
Regional Head & Sr. Manager Rodic Consultants said that setting up of Regional office-J&K by RODIC Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Was the onset of a sprint among all the competitors to have a regional office of their own in the State of J&K. Leading by example, RODIC is referred by varied client and companies, as the first company to have its regional office in the state.
“RODIC continues to grow as the company’s expertise begins to shift toward various sectors in the country as a whole and in the state of J&K in particular. The company’s footprint in J&K region endures to mature with 03 completed, 16 ongoing and 04 upcoming projects (likely to be started shortly), he said.
Sahil Manhas said that tt present, RODIC J&K Regional Office not only caters to managing all projects being executed in the state but now has also started providing preliminary support for upcoming projects in the nearby neighboring states like Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
