Poonch, July 5,: A speedy truck crushed a policeman to death on Thursday in Poonch district of Pirpanchal region in Jammu and Kashmir.
A police official said that a speedy tipper (JK02BJ-7035) on way to Surankote from Buffliaz hit the policeman who was riding on a motor bike near Draba area. The cop died on spot.
“The Selection Grade constable Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Mohammad Yousuf of Chandimar died on spot. He was posted at 6th battalion B Company of Jammu Kashmir Armed Police in Poonch district.
SSP Poonch Rajeev Pandey told CNS that they not only seized the tipper but also arrested the accused driver who had gone into hiding. (CNS)
