Bus carrying Amarnath pilgrims turns turtle in Kangan, two injured
Kangan: Two Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were injured on Friday in an accident on the Srinagar-Leh highway in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Officials said that a Bus registration number JK14C-2397 carrying the Amarnath pilgrims on its way to Baltal base camp to Srinagar turned turtle in at Ganiwan area on Srinagar-Leh highway resulting injuries of two Amarnath pilgrims travelling in the Bus.
The injured pilgrims were rushed to a SDH kangan a police official said.
Three pilgrims died on Tuesday after a landslide hit the Brarimarg-Railpathri area on the Baltal trek stretch in the Ganderbal district.
Officials said Amarnath yatra remained suspended for the third consecutive day today.(Agencies)
