Srinagar: The authorities on Friday placed Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest at his Nigeen residence.
A police party arrived at Mirwaiz’s Nigeen residence early in the morning and put him under house confinement, said a spokesman.(Agencies)
