Srinagar, 10 jul :Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) Tuesday staged a protest demonstration at Lal Chowk against the killings and injuries to civilians in forces’ action in south Kashmir’s Shopian and Kulgam districts.
The protest was led by co-chairman of KEA Farooq Ahmed Dar.
Dozens of KEA members raised pro-Kashmir slogans and demanded an end to the “genocide of Kashmiri people” during a protest at Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower) in Lal Chowk.
Dar appealed to the United Nations and Amnesty International to end the “genocide” of Kashmiris and help resolve the dispute.(Agencies)
