Srinagar: A teenager died after drowning in a stream in Handwara town of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, official sources told.
16-year-old Abid Hussain, son of Ghulam Hassan Tantray drowned while he was taking a bath in a stream near his home in Ganai Mohalla village of Handwara on Sunday evening, they said.
His body was retrieved after hectic efforts and handed over to the family for last rites.
