ARTO B’pora dispatched 13 driving licenses, 4 registration certificates through post

Srinagar : In a maiden move, Department of Transport Thursday initiated the process of dispatching driving license and registration certificates of vehicles to the concerned address though post.
In this connection Assistant Regional Transport Officer Bandipora on the directives of Transport Commissioner has dispatched 13 driving license and 4 vehicle registration certificates to the concerned people.
While talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora said, the initiation of dispatching documents to concerned people at their door step is aimed to minimize the rush of people who are visiting offices frequently for redress of their issues.
He said, this is just a beginning and it will be practiced in letter and spirit in days to come so that people will get a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile people by and large hailed the move by Transport Department and urged it will be followed in future also. (KNS)
