As per sources, the scuffle broke out late last evening between an attendant from Rajouri area of Jammu division and doctors in the Emergency’s Radiodiaganosis Department after the person shouted at an on-duty doctor. He was demanding on priority CT scan to his patient to which doctors responded in disagreement.
“Doctors refused to accept his demand as many critical patients were already waiting for their turn. This infuriated the attendant and he started abusing the doctors which lead to a scuffle,” an employee told Local Media
Security guards were called in to pacified the situation, he said.
Later, doctors filed a complaint at Soura police station against the attendant which prompted the Director SKIMS to order an enquiry in the incident to bring facts to the surface.
