Ganderbal, 30 jul : National Conference (NC) president and Member Parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah on Monday visited the residence of veteran political and religious leader Mian Bashir Ahmed at Wangath Kangan to enquire about his health.
Mian Bashir Ahmed, who is the father of senior National Conference leader and Member legislative Assembly Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmed, was unwell during past one week.
He returned home after being discharged from Batra Hospital in Delhi on Thursday.
The NC president was accompanied by senior NC leader and MLA Khanyar Ali Mohammad Sagar.
Dr Farooq wished Mian Bashir Ahmed a speedy recovery and prayed for his longer life.
