Tral, 30 jul: Government forces on Monday cordoned off Seer village of Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district and conducted a cordon-and-search-operation.
An official said that the searches were launched following a tip-off about the movement of militants in the area.
He said contingents of Jammu & Kashmir police, 42 Rashtriya Rifles of the army and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) are conducting door-to-door searches in Lone Mohalla Seer.
