Srinagar, 1 Aug : Protests erupted in Hernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday after the government forces allegedly thrashed a cab driver.
Reports said that people took to streets and staged a protest after forces beat up a driver on the old highway in Hernag area.
They said the forces fired tear gas to disperse the protesters, triggering further clashes.
