11th class students stage protest in Ganderbal, demand deferment of exams
Scores of class 11th students including girls assembled on the Srinagar-Leh highway at Ganiwan and held a protest demanding deferment of their annual examinations, witnesses told Local Media Persons.
The protesting students said that the exams should be deferred to mid-November so that they could complete their syllabus and appear in exams without any stress.
The protesting students also blocked the vehicular moment on Srinagar Leh highway to press their demand.
“We have not completed our syllabus yet but the government is adamant to hold our exams as per their own convenience. We won’t be able to perform better in exams,” the protesting students said.
