An official said that a private car and a load carrier suffered a collision at Bathera on Jammu-Akhnoor road at 11pm, resulting in on spot death of four persons and injuries to another person.
The injured was identified as Sameek Sharma (28) son of Surinder Kumar, was referred to Sub District hospital Akhnoor in critical condition.
The deceased were identified as Rana Partap Singh ((22), Dharvinder Singh (22) – both residents of Marjali, and Bhupinder Singh (20) of Akhnoor. The identity of the fourth body was not known immediately.
