Srinagar, November 11 : In a bid to provide relief to the pellet victims injured since the onset of introduction of infamous pellet gun post 2010 Ittifaq held a philanthropic programme at Srinagar’s Nigeen club , and provided philanthropic aid to large number of pellet hit victims .
Nida Rehman, founder member of the ittifaaq provided the stated relief to pellet victims and vowed to work for their welfare and development . She further urged civil society to initiate series of measures for the rehabilitation, social integration and empowerment pellet hit victims
Zeeshan Ahmad Chairman of the Itefaq NGO made it clear that they as organization are completely devoted to the cause of pellet victims.
Socio Political activist Inaam un Nabi who dawned the occasion as guest of honour lauded the brilliant efforts of the Itefaq NGO towards sufferings of pellet hit victims . “ I urge upon all the right minded and honest activists to come forward to join hands so that we can ease out pain and trauma of pellet hit victims and we will give all out efforts to help our pellet victim people .He made it clear that misuse of name of pellet hit victims to collect funds and to avoid their exploitation at hands of vested, selfish elements is the need of the hour .”
