Kishtwar witnessed 82.27% polling in Phase Fourth of Panchayat Elections: DPEO Kishtwar
A Bedridden 68 Years old woman casts her vote in Hullar Village, Kishtwar
Kishtwar, Nov 27: A sixty eight years old woman Begma Begum wife of Ghulam Qadir Caste her vote at a polling station in Hullar village of district Kishtwar in the fourth phase of the panchayati elections on Tuesday.
The old woman was lent a helping hand by her son to reach the polling booth set up near her house in Panchayat Ghar Hullar of Panchayat Lachh Dayaram.
Despite her bedridden she came to the polling station to caste her vote to see an end to object her poverty.
It is pertinent to mention here that the last phase of panchayati elections (Fourth Phase) commenced today in several areas of district Kishtwar. Moreover, the district Panchayat Elections officer (DPEO) Kishtwar Sh. Angrez Singh Rana informed that an 82.27% electors exercised their franchise in the last phase (Fourth Phase) of Panchayti Elections in district Kishtwar.
