TJAC to wait for future course on teachers pending demands till next SAC meeting: Qayoom Wani

Srinagar, Nov 30 : A high level meeting of Teachers Joint Action Committee (TJAC) was held at Jammu under the chair of President EJAC, Chairman TJAC Ab Qayoom Wani.
In the meeting, all the leaders unanimously decided to wait till coming SAC meeting, keeping in view the assurances given by the concerned authorities especially Advisor to Governor Khursheed Ahmad Ganie, Principal Secretary Finance Naveen Chowdhary, Secretary Education Ajit Kumar Sahu during recent meeting with TJAC leaders.
Wani said that TJAC is seriously monitoring the situation and we will react within seconds if need arises.
TJAC leaders urged upon the teaching community to wait for coming SAC meeting and TJAC is hopeful that our concerns will be addressed in the SAC meeting as per commitment of Governor of the state. Wani cleared that there will be less time frame for the Government for resolution of the issues of teaching fraternity like implementation of 7th Pay Commission from September in favour of RET’s and Head teachers working under SSA and Masters and Headmasters under RMSA, creation of posts, delinking of salaries from MHRD to state sector and regularisation of unconfirmed RET’s.
