Srinagar, Dec 03: As the Srinagar civil line localities plunged into darkness after the power supply was snapped by the authorities, the Power Development Department (PDD) Chief Engineer Kashmir Hashmat Qazi said power had to be snapped to connect the Wunpoh power grid damaged last month with the main city.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Chief Engineer PDD Kashmir Hashmat Qazi said, “the power was snapped to connect main city with the Wunpoh power grid station which was repaired after it was damaged last month. The power supply could be snapped for few hours tomorrow also but it has been restored for the evening hours to ensure the availability of power to people during night. (KNS)
