Demands new transformer for the village

Pattan : the residents Hagerpora Pattan in North Kashmir ‘s district Baramull protest and raised slogans against PDD administration.
It may be recalled that the residents of protesting for the want of upgraded transformer from last many months. A group of residents told that they are suffering in this winter a lot due to burning of transformer and this condition prevails only because the transformer is burdened with excessive load.
The protestors alleged that a 100 KV transformer was installed in their village but due to large population, an upgraded transformer is required to meet their power needs.
“Various times, the installed transformer got damaged due to overload”, they said and demanded installation of 250 KV transformers in their village.

The residents have urged for immediate restoring of upgraded transformer or they will start protesting on roads.
