Dr. Farooq, Omar, Shafi Uri condole death of Kashmiri laborers in Uttarakhand landslide
Srinagar, Dec 22 : Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Saturday expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the death of Kashmiri laborers in a landslide in Uttarakhand.
Expressing condolences with the bereaved families, Dr Farooq Abdullah said, “I am deeply saddened at the loss of precious lives and I pray to almighty for the speedy recovery of the injured.”
Omar Abdullah while expressing grief over the loss of lives said, “I pray to almighty for peace to departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear the loss,” he said urging the governor administration to ensure all possible medical support to the injured.
Party’s senior leaders Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Nasir Aslam Wani, Muhammad Shafi Uri, Dr. Sajad Uri and Javaid Ahmad Dar have also expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and have urged the governor administration to ensure best medical treatment to the injured labourers.
Meanwhile Dr Sajad Uri has spoken to the authorities in Uttarakhand and is constantly in touch with them.
