Ganderbal shuts against local militant’s killing

Srinagar: Parts of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district are observing a complete shutdown on Monday for the second straight day against the killing of a local M.Tech student-turned-militant Rahil Rashid Sheikh of Nunar.

Rahil had joined Hizb-ul-Mujahiddin militant outfit on April 3 and was killed along with an associate during a gunfight in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on April 6.
