It will take week’s time to identify culprits: SSP Bla
Srinagar, Apr 16 (: The relatives of Pattan resident who was found dead recently, Tuesday took to the streets and demanded the involved culprits be identified and dealt with strictly.
The family and relatives said that their beloved identified as Jan Muhammad was found 14 days after he went missing on March 22, 2019 here.
The body of Jan Muhammad who was driver by profession was found at a Nallah.
According to KNS Correspondent, the families and relatives of deceased were chanting slogans and were holding placards, displaying images of deceased.
They alleged that police has failed to identify the culprits so far. “We demand that those involved in the act be identified and be dealt with strictly,” they said.
Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla, Abdul Qayoom told reporters that they were busy in election process due to which they couldn’t investigate the case properly.
However, he said that the investigation in this regard has now been started and several arrests including one prime suspect were made in this regard. “It will take a week’s time to identify the involved persons in the act,” he added. (KNS)
