Srinagar : Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) will ply from both sides while Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) only one-way on the National Highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, a traffic police official said on Friday.
Only one-way traffic is allowed on historic 86-km-long Mughal road, which is seen as alternative to Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
Two-way traffic will continue to ply on the National Highway, linking Ladakh region with Kashmir with some restrictions.
Traffic official told UNI that LMVs will ply from both Srinagar and Jammu on Friday.
However, vehicles will have to leave Jakheni Udhampur from 0800 hrs to 1400 hrs. From Zig Qazigund, vehicles had to leave between 0700 hrs to 1400 hrs.UNI
