Inam lashes out at govt’s decision of disengaging 10+2 lecturers in mid session

Srinagar: Inam un Nabi prominent socio political activist and TV Debater has lashed out at the state Government for “humiliating” the 10+2 contractual lecturers by disengaging their services.

Mr. Inam observed “It is illogical that hundreds of lecturers working on academic arrangement basis in different higher secondary schools of Valley have been disengaged in the midest of academic session without any formal order from the concerned authorities. It is pertinent to mention that these lecturers have been rendering their credible services to the department & have proved themselves much better for the academic merit & excellence of the student community. Most of these lecturers are highly qualified with NET/SET/Mphil & possess good teaching experiences in their respective subjects”

Student community, since their disengagement has been suffering as they are without subject teachers since July 1.

“The fate & carrer of hundreds of unemployed youth is at stake despite qualifying examination thrice in their respective subjects. Though many a times delegations representing contractual lecturers personally met the higher ups especially Commissioner Secretary & Director School Education but no headway has been seen.”

Inam urged a secure job policy for all the youth of state and in this regard continuation of the services of contractual lecturers so that hanging sword over their future is waded off.

Inam hoped that this ‘anarchy decision’ will be taken back without any ifs and buts.
