PDP’s victory equivalent to BJP’s win in Kashmir: Salman Sagar
Srinagar: Terming NC patron and former Chief Minister Dr Farooq as a best candidate for the forthcoming LS Byopolls in Srinagar-slated to be held on April 9-Youth National Conference termed the coming elections as a golden opportunity for Kashmiris to give befitting reply to the communal forces in Valley.
As per a statement issued to CNS, Youth National Conference President Salman Ali Sagar while addressing people at various areas of Srinagar including Hazartbal and Sonwar said the fascist and communal forces hell bent to tear apart Kashmir’s secular fabric need to be given a befitting reply and none of the way is as vital as voting against them in the coming LS polls. “Vote is the voice heard across the world by one and all. Kashmiris are duty bound to speak loud and clear this time to tell it to the world that Kashmir rejects communalism and upholds its principles of harmony, justice and fairplay,” YNC president said in his address while touring to different peripheries of Hazaratbal.
He added that BJP by not fielding any candidate against the PDP in the coming polls has vindicated that the coalition between the two isn’t based on governance alone but is ideological aswell. “They have united themselves to fight for hatred, communalism and facieses. We have to understand that PDP’s win will mean Modi’s victory. It is upto people now to understand the PDP’s hidden agenda and ensure that it is routed for ever from Kashmir’s political landscape,” Salman Sagar added.
Meanwhile, the other YNC leaders who addressed peoples’ gatherings at areas of Hazaratbal and Sonwar include Advocate Neelofar Masood, Abid Wani ,Irfan Zehgeer and others.
