Srinagar: Senior Hurriyat Conference , leader and Chairman of People’s Political Party ( PPP) , Engineer Hilal Ahmad War on Wednesday while denouncing the civilian killings at the hands of occupational forces , at Chadoora yesterday , expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of injured youth .
Senior Hurriyat leader said, PDP- BJP Government has given their occupational forces unbridled powers to kill any person at will with full impunity in violation of Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Laws.
Terming the killing of youth as a cold blooded murder, War said, “Mehbooba Mufti being the Chief of Unified Command, is responsible for these killings and should be tried at International Court of Justice for crimes against humanity”.
“After General Rawat threat, the occupational forces have executed his threat wherein he categorically said unarmed civilians and peaceful protestors would be treated as militants. They have declared an open was against entire population of Kashmir by unleashed a reign of terror and the civilian killings has become a routine now. Therefore, International community should take a cognizance of the war like situation in Kashmir and take India to task in order to save South –Asia from the horrors of Nuclear war,” Engineer Hilal said.
Paying Rich tributes to Tawseef Ahmad, War said, “he was a brave son of the soil and revolutionary by conviction”. This brave heart, Tawseef fighted as a one man army till his last breath and gave tough time to world’s 4th Army. These martyrs have become source of inspiration for younger generation of Kashmir. History will always remember these heroes of oppressed nation.”
PPP Chief while denouncing the civilian killings at Chadoora, urged people of Kashmir to register protests on March 29 to highlight the brutalities of Indian Forces on Kashmiris.
