Shotopa/Kargil: District Police Kargil under its Civic Action Plan organized a Quiz Competition at Spring Dales Public School Wakha Mulbekh in which 10 students from various schools of Shargole Block participated, who competed in two groups Senior and Junior Groups.
SDPS Mulbekh got First Position in Senior Group meanwhile Government Higher Secondary School Shargole Bagged 2nd Position.
In Junior Group Police Public School Kargil got First and SDPS Junior gets 2nd position.
On this Occasion Deputy Commissioner Kargil Haji Gulzar Hussain was the Chief Guest and SSP Kargil T Gyalpo was the Guest of Honour.
The Chief Guest appreciating the efforts of Police in Kargil district told that such events will bring out the talent of the students and make them competent and ready for the competitive world.
He urged SSP Kargil for conducting more events for the youths which will help in keeping youths at bay from the unethical practices.
Talking on this occasion SSP Kargil T Gyalpo assured the students a youths that Police Department will come up with more sports and other curricular activities in Kargil continuing its mission for motivating the youths to show their hidden talents.
He further added that Police is organizing sports events like, Ice Skating, Archery, Taekwondo and other events which are helping in nourishing the talents of the youths.
Others present on this occasion includes Councilor Shargole Haji Mohammad Ali, Dy SP Headquarters Ishtiyaq Ahmad Kacho, Senior PO Tsering Phuntsog, Naib Tehsildar Shargole Mohammad Hassan, other officers and prominent Personalities of Shargole Thesil.
